I then sent my ring off. My ring was being cleaned, graded and updated almost daily. Their recommendation suggested that I set my reserve price slightly higher than they recommended. I ended up receiving $200 more than their recommended reserve prices. Overall, I think it was a fair price considering that local jewelry shops were likely to offer me much less. The auction closed on Tuesday night, and funds were available in my account Monday morning.

Communication was consistent and sometimes even surprising in its details. It was a very simple and seamless process. I also received more money than the local jewelers quoted me. I did not have to worry about the legitimacy of local purchasers via social media. All are vetted and secure.

My only criticism (and it is not negative – just an honest observation) is that you have to wait until your jewelry arrives before you can get your money. My process took nearly two months (8 weeks) They carefully clean, evaluate, and sell each item. It is worth it. A pawnshop is the best option if you are in urgent need of money. This company is worth a look if you have the money. It was a wonderful experience.

Although I appreciated their advice on pricing, you should go with your gut and decide what price you want for your jewelry.
