We were so excited to go to TSO again. But then, I got a terrible bug and my mother got covid. All on the same day.
My prayers were that I would be able to attend. It wasn`t meant.
I had to cancel our date night at TSO. I bought the insurance because of the high price and rising cost of covid.
It was a great decision. My mom is my sole caregiver. I asked her doctor for confirmation. It was simple to use your website and it was quick to upload photos.
I received my reimbursement for full ticket reimbursement last week. It only took two weeks to complete the process.

Communication skills at Allianz are poor. It can be difficult to reach a representative and talk to them. They are helpful and knowledgeable when you do get someone. Mail communications were inaccurate and repeated previous messages that were unclear about what was needed. After responding to the initial letter, I received the exact same message twice more months later. A live person confirmed that I only required one item and that it was given to me. It is difficult to provide simple or straightforward responses on the forms you use to respond. I didn`t receive any explanation as to why certain claims were denied. Although I agreed that some were not eligible for payment, I was not provided with any details.

My sister and I went on a cruise and returned to Miami. However, my sister was denied boarding to Buffalo. It was an ordeal for her to be paid back. She had to fill out all paperwork at least three times and only received 1/3 of the money she was due.

So I first filed a claim using the app. Then, I uploaded my documents. Later, I received an email stating that my documents had been lost so I emailed them. I paid once for the flight and one for the hotel. I got my money back. I got my money back.

Your representative was either uninformed, or lied to us. Allianz told us one thing, but they didn`t honor it. Do more for others.

This company is a five-star company. They handled my claim quickly and efficiently.

It took six months to resolve this routine claim (COVID-related flight cancellation). Although I am grateful for our full benefits, the bad experience of filing a claim is still very painful.

Because I`d used Allianz twice before, but never filed a claim, I chose Allianz. It was necessary for me to file a claim on my recent trip. I expected some work, but it took 20+ hours of phone correspondence, delays, emailing, on-hold waiting, phone calls, emails, and digitizing documents. Many of these seemed unnecessary, frivolous, or irrelevant.

It was frustrating and exhausting. I will never use Allianz again.

Due to medical treatment, I had to cancel my trip. Due to multiple errors about who I was, it took me 5 months to get my medical treatment. They repeated their request for more information several times. They had my correct name, even though it was associated with my travel companion who received a refund two months before my refund. I will never use Allianz or Viking again.

It was not clear from the beginning that I needed a signed “medical form” by a doctor to submit my claim. It was not clear that the doctor must sign off that there is no preexisting illness. The reason for cancellation was stage 3 ovarian carcinoma, which required surgery and chemotherapy. This happened over the summer and fall. The claim processing was also slowed down by the inability to submit the claim forms electronically. I wasted my time and sent the documents in!

The company may not be what you think it is! They are an insurance company. They don`t pay out on claims. Filing a claim seems easy because it is so simple. However, getting paid is difficult. They claim that there are glitches in the system, lost data, and so many roadblocks it is tempting not to try again. Only way to contact them is through “agents”. Waiting on hold for a representative will result in you being transferred to another agent. You will not be given a contact number and they will disconnect. They then tell you that they have lost their documents. This is a fraudelant and outrageous process. The company is not a good businessman and has a bad reputation in the industry.

Communication was terrible. To confirm that the claim had been approved, I had to check again. There were many questions that were not relevant or impossible to answer (like Hotwire notifying the provider – we couldn`t go due to COVID).

Due to illness, I was unable to attend any concert. Allianz was very helpful in processing my refund. Their staff was friendly and helpful with all the details I required. The portal was easy to use. Uploading required documents was easy. Their portal allowed me to view the status of my refund. They were extremely helpful and I would highly recommend them.

Communication was slow. My claim was finally processed, but at a lower amount than the receipts that I submitted. I received no explanation or response to my email regarding the benefits and how they arrived at the number. Although some were covered, it`s not clear and fast enough to know how.
