The website is great and the staff at the bank are friendly whenever I visit a branch. Informational seminars on various topics are also very helpful.

GBFCU has been my bank since 2015. GBFCU helped me get my first loan and refinanced the loan. I have never experienced any problems and all of the staff I have interacted with were very kind and helpful.

Great Basin Credit Union is my favorite. We found better rates at OE Federal Credit Union for savings, so we will move some of our savings to this credit union.

Great Basin FCU has been my bank for many years. My children have savings accounts. My experience with GB was personal. I mean that GB doesn`t approach me in a blanket way like national banks when I do business, such as refinancing or buying a vehicle. I feel that I am given loan terms that are tailored to my personal circumstances. I have had nothing but positive experiences with GB. There is one thing that I would change about GB. That is the lack of a Spanish Springs drive-through ATM. It is possible to get ATM services at no cost from partner credit unions.

GBFCU is hands down the most helpful, friendly, and thoughtful financial institution that I have ever worked with. Their praises are a constant source of joy. Great Basin is not what we want. It takes them forever to pay a loan and they sometimes deny credit. Two loans were taken out and we were able to transfer one to another credit union. We are currently trying to get the remainder of our loan refinanced at another institution.

Overall, I`m satisfied. My only problem was when I tried to refinance my mortgage to a lower interest rate. Because of my circumstances, I needed to speak to someone. I had to wait for a third party to call me. I didn`t get a call, so I switched to another provider. Because of the waiting time, the internet rate increased a little. It should be possible to contact the lender directly. The atm should offer bill options, rather than just giving $20.00 bills. Greater nv credit union offers more options.

Great Basin has Saturday drive-through tellers, which is why I joined. I drove all the distance from north Reno south Reno, only to discover that the tellers had been replaced by a machine. I then drove to the west Reno location, and although there was a live teller, I was informed that they were closing soon. This is bad news! This is very sad.

Great Basin was the best thing to ever happen to me during the time period in my life. They approved my vehicle refinance payment and my car payment went down from 700 to 400 just when I needed it most. They were very helpful via phone and internet chats.
