IMG provides basic, low-cost medical coverage at a very affordable price. They are terrible to work with. They take a long time to process claims and the results they do get are often incorrect. We have often had to appeal denied claims that were not approved on appeal. However, if you don`t do your homework and follow up properly you could lose out.
Rates can also rise dramatically after a claim. After having surgery in 2006, my rates increased by 35% and 40% respectively the following year. I quit, signed up again, and my rates dropped with a condition rider. My wife had the exact same experience in 2021. She filed a claim for surgery and her 2022 rates were 40% more. Her 2023 rates are 30% higher. This is more than twice her 2020 rate. In that time, my coverage has increased by 8% annually.
They provided coverage that we needed with a lot of oversight. However, any claims they pay will be returned in the next few decades. It should be okay if you`re willing to spend time following up on claims and not make any.

We didn`t realize we had no travel or health insurance before we left for our trip. It was easy to find the right package online. We felt at ease knowing that IMG had received great reviews.

It was easy and quick to sign up. The coverage was great for my daughter who had an accident on our last trip to America. It was much easier than any other health insurance that we had. The coverage and service were excellent.

I was directed to another carrier and tried to enroll, but they denied my credit card. IMG allowed me to use the same credit card when I signed up. IMG would also cover Covid while traveling, which I wasn`t sure the other carrier would.

They should get at least one star if they can. They were very prompt in responding to my request for travel insurance to Canada in 2018. However, when it came time to file a claim, they had not responded to my claim. It`s a complete waste of money.

Last trip was cancelled due to medical reasons. I received full reimbursement for insurance, as I did not need it.

This is my third time using this insurance, the first two for myself and the last for my daughter. It was easy and great, even though I have never used it.
