The WLT trips can be amazing. Just completed my fifth hike with them, and it was another amazing trip. It was an amazing backpacking trip to the Grand Canyon (Rim to Rim). There were bathrooms at both the campgrounds and along the trail. The food was delicious as usual. Drew was our guide, and he did an amazing job making our experience unforgettable! Ten percent of WLT hikers would do it again.

Grand Canyon 4-day rim-to-rim hike. Wildland executed the task with great success. From the initial planning and billing, through preparation, screening, and then finally the shuttle to and from the hike. He was knowledgeable and helpful, and he prepared good meals. He was a good companion. The gear provided was excellent. Highly recommended.

Wildland Trekking Company recently took me on the Mont Blanc tour. It was an amazing hike. It is a beautiful trek, but the Wildland trip made it even more memorable. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and entertaining to be with. Each night, the accommodations were five-star and the food was delicious. It was an unforgettable experience.

This trip was a journey of its own. The company couldn`t get the camp sites they needed so I didn`t sign up for the Bechler Yellowstone tour. We were then switched to Lamar Vally. The flood struck. Although it was confirmed that the trip would still be possible, the decision was made to change the itinerary for the North Western Yellowstone park. Because I didn`t get what I expected, I ended up in two wilderness environments. The trip was great. I was able to visit a section of the park that is not often visited. We saw very few people once we left the trailhead. The scenery was stunning. The guides were wonderful and the food was delicious. My trip was not one they offer often so I don`t think my comments on the area where we hiked are relevant to anyone considering Wilderness Trekking trips. You will have an amazing experience if your expectations are not met.

The 4 day North Rim-South Rim backpacking trip was incredible. Wildland handled all paperwork and gave us regular updates on how we were doing. The guide was extremely knowledgeable about the Grand Canyon and very helpful in making sure that we were all fed and safe. This was an unforgettable adventure that we will never forget.

Wildland has been a great company to work with. I have traveled the US several times and had great experiences in Yellowstone. They are professional, yet friendly and approachable. Our guide Rosie “Hey Bear” was a great leader. She quickly bonded the group and was friendly and warm throughout the adventure. We wish you a happy and safe next time ……

Adrienne, our guide was incredible. She is an expert in her field and much more. It was a wonderful experience that exceeded all expectations. I believe it was due to her knowledge and guidance.

A guided experience allowed for more time for our group to build relationships and to not worry about logistics such as permits, food preparation, menus and cleaning.

The group of seven hiked Zion together. Our age ranged from 9 to 60 years old, and our experience levels were varied. Two guides were a great help. They were able to provide breakfast and lunch. They were able to offer encouragement to younger hikers as well as a wealth of information to more experienced hikers. They were also flexible and allowed us to go at our own pace. Our whole group loved it!

Grand Staircase- Escalante was a wonderful place to visit llamas. It was great to meet their personalities and to develop friendships. They were extremely knowledgeable about the entire trip, including the geology, history, llamas, backpacking, and more. They made healthy and interesting meals, as well as bringing the group together for stories, poetry, and laughter.

This is a wonderful way to see the Grand Canyon from a bed and breakfast. Beautiful hikes every day at a pace that lets you take in the stunning views. It is a nice thing that the group size is small. The food was excellent and the accommodations were convenient and comfortable. This tour will maximize your time and allow you to leave all planning to the professionals. Highly recommended!

Wildland Trekking was a fantastic company for our Grand Canyon hike! From getting permits to providing tents, sleeping bags and air mattresses, as well as food and cooking, Wildland Trekking was there for us. James, our guide, is very knowledgeable about all aspects of the canyon, was extremely helpful and informative, and loves the outdoors. Wildland Trekking is highly recommended and James as your guide.

This was our first overnight backpack trip. The guide was fantastic! He prepared breakfast and dinner each night. He prepared lunch, but it was often light fare. It was a challenge as one of us was vegetarian, the other was vegan, and we didn`t eat pork. The equipment they used was clean and well maintained. They are professional and I would use them again.

Great company. The guide was excellent. Don`t underestimate the difficulty of a 5-star difficulty trip. You will have a great time if you`re willing to hike for hours, pack your own gear, set up your tent and adhere to strict leave no trace policies. If you are passionate about backcountry hiking, but don`t have time or the confidence to plan it all yourself, this trip is for you. I can`t wait for my next trip.

The 5 day/4 night Hermit Trail Hike was a hike we did. The hike was amazing: the views, campsites, Colorado River, Wildland Trekking equipment, food, and so much more. He was a great guide. We had delicious food and he was very knowledgeable about the Grand Canyon. He was also friendly and fun. Wildland Trekking is highly recommended. We are already planning to do another hike with them next summer.
